The "Trauma-Informed Education"course has been successfully completed at the College of Education.

On Thursday, 6/2/2025, the "Gezirta Hêvîya" organization, in coordination with the College of Education at the University of Zakho and with the support of its main partner organizations (Notfallpädagogik – Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiner e.V.) and (Aktion Deutschland Hilft), organized a three-day workshop for students of the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Zakho.

 

The workshop focused on the topic of "Psychological Trauma and Trauma-Informed Education" through both theoretical and practical approaches. Its main objective was to enhance students' knowledge and preparedness, equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively interact with individuals affected by trauma in their future professional environments.
